Blog Post for Week Four: Peer Review

After reading my awesome peer reviews I am going to follow their advice and work on adding in a more international aspect to my video and adding in a bit more information to it. I am very excited to finish this project and show it to the world!

I am very glad that my peers enjoyed the video and the blog, and I am very glad that they gave such informative feed back! It makes me feel a lot less stressed now that I have some more pointers on where to take the video!

In college we are bombarded with an increasing desire to travel, to see the world around us. Because it is in college that we really begin to see that the world has so much to offer. However, with tuition costs and other expenses that come from being on our own for the first time--many of us cannot afford to study abroad, or at least not right now. So how can a college student still experience other cultures, and explore the world around them with no money? That's what this blog is about. Traveling and seeing the world around us with Fresh Eyes, without emptying our pockets. Other cultures are all around us, we need to only look a little closer with fresh eyes.

Meet the Blogger

My name is Rebecca Blount, I am a junior student at Georgia Southern University. I am an avid adventurer with an obsession with England, a work out enthusiast, a photographer who has run her own business for two years now. This blog is dedicated to helping college kids living in the Savannah area experience the many cultures that live side by side with them. I know that study abroad can be expensive, and that sometimes we have to wait a while before we can finally go abroad. But until then, there are so many cultures around us that we never see or bother to explore. This blog is my journey exploring those cultures. I hope it inspires.
